Can it convert a DRM-protected or scanned book?
No. Books locked with DRM (most store-bought Kindle and Adobe-DRM titles) carry no readable text to convert, and scanned-image books are pictures, not text. This tool will tell you plainly instead of producing a broken file. Only convert books you own the rights to convert.
